CHAPTER 01

Start here

UMI is a token launchpad and trading app built around Uniswap v4. Create a token, open its market, and choose how its trading fees are shared.

Current network

The hosted app uses Hardhat test funds. Treasury vault returns are simulated. Elysium testnet deployment and wallet verification are the next rollout stage, after client approval.

Two types of rewards

Launch rewards belong to individual token markets. Protocol treasury rewards concern the main UMI token. These are separate systems.

CHAPTER 02

Launch a token

Choose an image, name and ticker in Launch Studio, then choose one reward mode and review its fee share.

One transaction

A standard launch creates 1 billion tokens, creates a Uniswap v4 pool and seeds it with the token. The first buyers bring the ETH. Trading begins in that pool without a migration step.

Creation fee

The protocol guide describes a 0.001 test ETH creation fee, plus network gas. The app reads the current creation fee from the contract and displays it before launch.

Opening price

The updated protocol specifies an opening price of about 0.00000000168 ETH per token before fees and price impact, or about 1.68 ETH for the full supply. The pool begins with zero ETH and no separate virtual ETH reserve.

Locked starting liquidity

The protocol guide specifies that the launchpad permanently holds the initial liquidity position. The creator and team cannot remove it; its earned fees remain claimable under the selected reward rules.

Permanent choices

Name, ticker, reward mode and fee split are fixed at launch. Review the selected tick-box card and percentage before submitting.

CHAPTER 03

Discover & trade

Explore lists deployed UMI markets. Design previews, where linked separately, are illustrative and cannot be traded.

Market data

Market rows show price, market cap, 24-hour volume and a trend line. Live data comes from recorded UMI fills. A token with no fills has no price trend; one fill appears as a single price point. Market cap is the latest fill price multiplied by total supply.

Quotes & slippage

Choose Buy or Sell, enter an amount, and review the estimated output and slippage tolerance. Selling may first require token approval. Approval does not execute the sale: review the resulting quote and submit it separately.

Wallet balances

The header shows the trading wallet’s ETH balance. On a deployed market page it also shows that wallet’s token balance. Balances refresh periodically and after a successful trade or reward action. Launch Studio currently uses wallet #1; trading uses wallet #3.

Chart tools

The UNIFY chart component is adapted to UMI’s ETH-denominated fills. Select an interval, pan or zoom, inspect OHLC and volume, and enable MA 20, EMA 20 or RSI 14. Fullscreen supports touch controls. Indicators need enough candles to calculate a value.

CHAPTER 04

Fees & reward modes

The opening fee starts at 2% and falls to 0.3% over five minutes. One reward mode is selected per launch, with a chosen share of the locked position’s fees.

Creator / community split

The creator can retain their fees or permanently direct a selected share to a community wallet.

Buy & Burn

The creator can use the selected fee share to buy the launched token and burn it, reducing its supply. This action is creator-triggered.

Holder rewards

Holders can stake the launched token to earn a share of ETH fees and unstake at any time. These are rewards for that launched token, separate from main UMI staking.

Cashback & referrals

Eligible trades earn cashback that can be withdrawn or converted from ETH credit into another UMI market token where routing is supported. A referrer receives 10% of the referred trader’s cashback. Available actions appear in the market’s Rewards tab.

CHAPTER 05

Uniswap v4 hooks

The updated protocol describes built-in and imported hooks: smart contracts that control pool behavior. The hook is chosen at launch. Launch Studio supports the built-in UMI hook and compatible custom hooks, with pool-specific fee settings.

Built-in UMI hook

The protocol specifies an automatically decaying opening LP fee and a separate creator swap fee from 0% to 1%. The creator swap-fee rate is permanent for that pool.

Creator swap-fee balance

For standard exact-input trades, buys accrue the additional fee in the token and sells accrue it in ETH. This fee goes to the creator’s fee balance, separately from the locked position’s LP fee split.

Importing a custom hook

The protocol describes importing a compatible hook already deployed on the same network, choosing a fixed or dynamic pool fee, and simulating creation before submitting the transaction.

Review pool rules

An imported hook controls its pool’s behavior. The UMI creator swap fee and built-in reward presets require the UMI hook; custom-hook launches can still use the creator/community LP fee split. Review the hook before trading.

Opening value

The protocol’s Pons-style preset targets an opening fully diluted value of about 1.68 ETH. Comparing with a curve quoted in SOL requires currency conversion.

CHAPTER 06

Protocol treasury

Creation fees go to the protocol treasury recipient. The treasury is separate from each launch’s reward allocation.

Reserve & prototype

The treasury prototype converts a launch fee into a test settlement token and holds a cash reserve. Its investment prototype ranks public vault candidates by return, drawdown and consistency.

Settled profit

Payouts use settled profit after recovering earlier losses. A displayed gain or pending withdrawal does not trigger a payout.

50 / 50 allocation

The protocol guide allocates half of eligible treasury profit to buyback and burn of the main UMI token, and half to staked main-token holders. The Treasury page shows test-chain settlements, burns and claims.

Rollout

After deployment approval, verify the Uniswap v4 deployment and wallet setup on Elysium testnet, then test launches, trading, fee claims and rewards. Live vault deposits, withdrawals and daily automation are separate work.
